Smith's Classic british cars

British legendary classic sports cars

In times gone by, Great Britain was in it's golden years of manufacture producing thousands of legendary cars every week. That time has now passed and all that is left of this great era is the heritage of the surviving cars and the enthusiasts who keep them on the road.

No other country generated so many legendary classic roadsters and sports cars in one era, whether Triumph, Jaguar, MG, Austin Healey, Morgan, Jensen, all have become legendary sought-after roadsters.

Here we will look at some classics made in Great Britain in the 1950's and 1960's - a period which encapsulates the real heyday of British car manufacture. This was a time when Britain was a world leader in car design, and a time when car ownership was readily becoming accessible to all. It was a period when cars had real individuality and character, looks were important comfort was a secondary issue. Classical roadsters were produced which have styling which have never been surpassed.  Whether you own a classic car or not why not come in and revisit the magnificent era of Great British Classic Cars.
